I have to say today ended in a bad note for me, emotionally. My cat Alfy passed away and it really hurts. I had to say goodbye to him twice. Once, when I had to give him away ( that was HARD) and now when he passed of old age. It's harder the second time because I know I wont see him again.
Im strong and I try to find the positive but for today I needed some time to myself.
I want to add some positivity to this day and focus on my goals. I refuse to let you guys, nor myself down, therefore stayed focused. I ate a very healthy lunch and dinner today.
I lacked on increasing my water intake and my mid A.M and P.M snacks...I will get better at this. It's only day two.
In a few I will put my baby girl to sleep and get in a a good 1 hr work out.
I might opt for p90x today.
Today I realized some obvious challenges. Portion control,even with my healthy meals.
I have to say guys, this is tough. There are just certain things that are hard to give up. Mine is Coffee with cream. Today I had my daily morning cup of Joe, however I opted added a little bit of milk and two packets of Splenda instead of cream and two teaspoons of reg sugar. It's a change I can work with and hopefully later on I will be able to see coffee as a treat and make it a 2-3 times a week thing, replacing the morning cup of Joe for Green tea.
